Cressi has been around since 1946 and is behind many inventions and evolutions of the spearfishing industry. It was Cressi brothers Edigio and Nanni passion for the sport and enthusiasm to create a speargun that would revolutionise the sport. In the beginning, all products were handcrafted and entrusted only to the two Cressi brothers, who would personally try them out, however as the company began to expand and the popularity increased eventually they had to increase production. However, even in modern times, with all the technology available, Cressi still insists that all products must pass the test of long use in the sea before receiving the ok to go ahead with production. Cressi is a state of the art company with branches in Spain, France, America and distribution is worldwide with around 100 countries importing it. The brand Cressi represents the strict tests, tradition and passion of one of the world’s finest spearfishing equipment manufacturers.
