The barrels are made with aerospace grade aluminium which gives the barrels better strength and stiffness. It can handle strong rubbers and can be used in longer lengths with the least amount of flex.

The anodised aluminium barrel is then covered with a unique PVC sleeve having a spear guide along the full length of the barrel. This has been designed with features to ensure ultra quietness as the spear leaves the gun and to then keep it’s trajectory in as straight a flight path as possible.

* Grade 17-4 Precipitation Hardened Stainless Steel spear with double notch
* Orca Thula Railguns are available in barrel lengths of 80cm, 100cm, 120cm, 130cm and 140cm.
