This product is named after the ancient name of the Italian island Sardinia. The inventor and designer of this product is Mariano Satta, good friend and great Sardinian spearfisherman. His dedicated work and continuous tests have resulted in what can be considered one of the very few surface boards solely conceived for spear fishing.

The body of the board is manufactured in a highly resistant polypropylene by rotational moulding. The board has a wall thickness of 4mm for a total weight of around 5 kgs. It is virtually unbreakable. The dimensions are 90x45cm.

The board features a protrusion under the prow and two centreboards to increase its float-ability and ease manoeuvrings when dragging. A pass through high resistance stainless steel ring is also placed beneath the board to attach the line.

The board is delivered with a glove-fitting, TPU coated Nylon cover, featuring various hooks and loops to easily carry the spear fishing equipment. On top of the cover there is also a large detachable pocket for fish storing. Shardana is delivered with its own flag, nylon line and Omer line winder.
